About

My name is Tim and I have been employed in the bicycle trade for the last 20 years running several busy London bicycle shops and workshops. I have commuted in and out of London from the Bromley area over this period and have enjoyed the freedom it’s brought. I love bikes and have tried my hand at road racing, time trialing, cyclocross, lots of mountain biking and more recently dabbled in racing Bmx’s. Bikes usually come on holiday with us and now my two boys are both able to ride bikes, I am enjoying helping them to discover the world of cycling.

Aside from Chislehurst Cycles, I also work for Bromley council as a cycle trainer, teaching the Bike ability courses to adults and children. I also enjoy teaching two monthly bicycle mechanic courses at the local adult education center and supporting various Dr Bike events throughout the Bromley borough.

To keep things varied, I also work for “MBR” Mountain Bike Rider magazine preparing and testing bikes for each monthly issue.
